VINClarity

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

By accessing VINClarity ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What we provide

VINClarity provides vehicle information reports compiled from third-party data sources, including vehicle specification data and market estimates from Auto.dev and official safety recall data from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Reports describe vehicle specifications, factory build data, safety recalls and an estimated market value.

Our standard report does not include accident, title-brand, odometer or theft history. Reports are informational and should not be your only basis for a purchase decision. Always inspect a vehicle and verify records independently before buying.

2. Accuracy of data

Data is supplied by third parties and government databases. We do not create or independently verify it and cannot guarantee it is complete, current or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. Payment and delivery

Reports are delivered digitally and immediately after successful payment through our payment processor (PayPal). Prices are shown before purchase. You are responsible for entering the correct VIN.

4. Acceptable use

You may not resell, scrape, bulk-download, or use the Service or its data in violation of any applicable law or the terms of our data providers. Reports are for your personal, individual use.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VINClarity is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on a report. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
